Creatine is the most efficient in gaining mass, although most of it is water being held in the muscles although is does cause muscle mass growth as well. Whey protein is probably the best bet as it has no side effects, is tasty and causes sufficient muscle growth. Creatine is sometimes compared to a healthy option of anabolic steriods although sometimes people see no results. As long as your pushing hard in the gym, eating alot 6 times a day, resting efficiently and getting the right nutrients in your diet then you are bound to see results.
basically anything with protein..try whey protein..it doesn’t taste that great but you can mix it with ice cream and make a float out of it and there’s a lot of different recipes out there you can use it with..just try a high protein diet and incorporate a little bit of fat because fat can easily be turned into muslce..just make sure there’s not too much fat there

Not to be sarcastic, but 90% of guys who are trying to get bigger fail to do two things:
a) seriously eat a ton of healthy, real food
b) lift really heavy (weights that you can only get 4-6 reps out of)
Supplements may help, but they are expensive and nothing works better than regular food (assuming it is not junk food).
